Car Share star Peter Kay has been announced as the new face of British baker Warburtons.

The 43 year old comedian, who hails from Bolton, Greater Manchester, where the company was founded, replaces Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone in the brand's upcoming ad campaign, set to hit screens later this year. Kay commented 'I'm delighted to be teaming up with Warburtons for their new adverts, not only because I grew up around the corner from the bakery in Bolton but also, I'll get to go home for my tea'.
